You use the sensor to wirelessly scan the sensor and display your glucose readings. The Freestyle Libri 2 sensor automatically communicates with the reader and can alert you about your glucose level if you choose to turn it on. The reader also includes an internal blood glucose test scale and a ketone test. The sensor works with Freestyle Libre 2 sensors only and cannot be used with other sensors.
